Hey any updates to pnotepad2? Its an excellent app please dont stop workng on it. I would really love some updates to the hypertext/php style because the current one seems kinda iffy. If you could use something similar to dreamweaver that'd be great

PN2 is a nice program. I like its clean and easy-to-use front panel.

I usually program with Fortran. I wonder whether there is a scheme for Fortran.

Besides, PN2 is larger in size than NotePadplusplus, and NotePad2. Can you make it more compact(reducing the size of pn.exe and compacting most of dll files and other files into one powerful executable file) and quick to load (like the NotePad by Microsoft)?

Interesting was the comment that Notepad++ was more powerfull ?
At 508K vs 1.26MB, that's unlikely, and there are no multiple tools or
error parser features in Notepad++, which I find more vanilla then PN2

Could be partly that one problem with PN2 is too much menu-depth, so
often a quick glance misses buried features.

eg I'd move Options to the Top Tool bar, making a 7th item.

Also under tools, rather than than tools.options.tools.[select].edit.consoleIO
replace the edit button, with two : Properties and Console IO

With these changes you now have

options.tools.consoleIO
options.tools.Properties

visible (but greyed) without [select], so a quick menu tour is MUCH more
informative, and less drilling down for experienced users too :)
